Iskcon temples of India comprise those of Northern India, Southern India, Western India, Eastern India and parts of Central India. 'Iskcon' is the name of a religious movement which aims to promote 'Krishna consciousness', or identifies the 'Hare Krishna' movement in the country. The Iskcon temples of India are built to commemorate the spiritual teachings of
Lord Krishna in the holy text of the
Hindus, called '
Bhagavad Gita'. The philosophy of '
Bhakti Yoga' is implemented in the devotional services of these temples.

Jammu and Kashmir and
Srila Prabhupada Ashram,
Jammu are the various Iskcon temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and
Radha in Jammu and
Kashmir.
Punjab possesses several Iskcon temples like Chowk Moni Bazar temple,
Amritsar, Hare Krishna Dham,
Chandigarh, Iskcon temple in
Ludhiana. Iskcon temple in
Kurukshetra is the only single Iskcon temple in
Haryana. Sri Sri Radha Parthsarthi Temple is an Iskcon temple situated in New
Delhi. The state of
Uttar Pradesh contains some Iskcon temples, the temple in
Vrindavan, one in
Noida, the other in Delhi NCR, Radha Benimadhav Mandir,
Allahabad, and yet another Iskcon temple in
Lucknow. Srila Prabhupada Ashram is a wonderful Iskcon temple located in
Uttarakhand.
Iskcon Temples of Southern India
Iskcon temples in
Guntur, Hanumkonda,
Hyderabad,
Nellore,
Secunderabad,
Tirupati,
Vijayawada,
Vishakhapatnam and
Warangal are the different Iskcon temples of the South Indian state of
Andhra Pradesh. Sri Sri Radha Krishna Chandra,
Bangalore,
Jagannath Mandir, Bangalore, Iskcon temple in
Belgaum are the Iskcon temples situated in
Karnataka. The Iskcon temples of
Tamil Nadu are in
Chennai,
Coimbatore,
Madurai,
Salem and Srirangam.
Trivandrum is the only region in
Kerala which contains an Iskcon temple.
Iskon Temples of Western India
Sri Sri Radha Govind Mandir in
Ahmedabad, Sri Sri Radha Syamsundar Mandir, Baroda and another Iskcon temple in Dwarka are the several temples of
Gujarat. The Iskcon temples of
Maharashtra are Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Temple, Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple, Sri Sri Radha Giridhari Mandir, Sri Sri Radha Pandharinath Temple located in Pandharpur, Sri Sri Radha Kunjbihari Temple and the Iskcon temple in
Solapur. There is an Iskcon temple at
Jaipur in
Rajasthan, named as Sri Sri Giridhari Dauji Temple.
Iskcon Temples of Eastern India
Sri Sri Krishna Balaram temple,
Bhubaneshwar, Sri Ram Govinda Mandir, Brahmapur and the Iskcon temple at
Puri are some of the
Iskcon temples in
Orissa.
West Bengal also boasts of several Iskcon temples which are quite popular. They are the Iskon temple at Haridaspur, another temple at Albert Road in
Kolkata, Shree
Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir at Mayapur, the Iskcon temple at Ranaghat and finally the Iskcon temple in
Siliguri.
Bihar has an Iskcon temple at
Patna. The other Iskcon temple here is the Sri Sri Radha Banke Bihari Temple.

Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and the Iskcon temple in
Raipur,
Chhatisgarh are the significant Iskcon temples of this part of India.
Iskcon temples are present in almost every Indian state and draw millions of native devotees and tourists from all across the globe. These temples consist of beautiful statues of Lord Krishna and Radha, beautifully decked up in flowers and rich garments. Iskcon temples arrange for the special journey of the decorated chariots or '
rathas' during the festival of 'Ratha
yatra'.
