Actor and superstar Aamir Khan holds the maximum consecutive nominations of 9, from 1989 to 1997 and has won the award 2 times. His contemporary Salman Khan has been nominated for maximum number of times without ever having won with 9 nominations.
The youngest winner of the award is Rishi Kapoor who won at 21, for his performance in his debut film ‘Bobby’ released in 1973. The youngest nominee is Darsheel Safary, who was nominated at the age of 11 for his performance of a dyslexic child in the 2007 released ‘Taare Zameen Par’.
