Indian movie, Kaho na pyaar hai is a pure love story mixed with some action sprinkled all over the movie. This film is debut venture of the male and female actors Hrithik Roshan as well as Amisha Patel. The singer Lucky Ali also tried his luck through this film. The story of the Indian movie, Kaho na pyaar hai was unique in sense that it focuses on the starnge coincidence of two strangers looking physically alike. One of them is shot dead by the conspiracy of police in India with an antagonist while the other one comes from the long way of New Zealand to India to find the killers of the previous one. The Indian movie, Kaho na pyaar hai is beautifully inspired by tamil film `Love Birds`.

Plot:
Kaho na Pyaar Hai , Indian movieThe Indian movie, Kaho na…pyaar hai is a Indian film directed by Rakesh Roshan. This is a blockbuster of 2000 which made a huge fans of Hrithik Roshan as well as Amisha Patel. Rohit played by Hrithik Roshan is an aspiring singer who meets Sonia Saxena (Amisha Patel). They repeatedly meets up and finally they meet on a cruise together and eventually get stranded on a deserted island. Over a period of time they fall deeply in love but now comes the entry of the antagonist. Sonia`s father (Anupam Kher) opposed to their relationship. He is a rich man and he does not tolerate her daughter roaming with a guy even without proper parents. Unfortunately Rohit is killed by two corrupt policemen. Sonia looses fer sense on hearing this news and goes into depression so her father sends her to New Zealand to her cousin to recover and get over Rohit. She spends some quality time with her uncle and cousin but cannot forget rohit even for a moment. Then she meets Raj (Hrithik Roshan) who looks exactly like Rohit. She gets back her life but raj is not Rohit so after getting this truth Sonia again falls into depression and decides to go back to India. By that time Raj falls in love with Sonia but she doesn`t return his love back, because she knows that her one true love is dead, and seeing someone`s face which is so similar is just too painful. While going back to India Raj follows Sonia and ends up staying in India longer than he had expected. He gets involved in the corrupted matter as he is shot by the murderers of Rohit. Soon, the two begin to question whether Rohit`s death was an accident or a murder. They are confused and tries to find out the truth. Out of some clues they figure out Rohit was murdered. So, Raj and Sonia`s friends made-up a plan to find Rohit`s killers. The story gets an interesting turn. But the plan backfires and the murderers kidnap Sonia. Raj comes to the rescue and saves her. That incident revealed that sonia`s father is also involved in the conspiracy. Raj organises one show with Rohit`s old songs. The murderers are confused and at the end all antagonists gets cought and gone to jail. Sonia falls in love with Raj and dcides to get married with him. Raj goes back to New Zealand with Rohit`s small brother and Sonia. The film has a happy ending.

The casting of the Indian movie, Kaho na…pyaar hai includes two debut actors Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel. Anupam Kher played the role of the antagonist while Mohnish Behl and Ashish Vidyarthi played the role of two corrupted inspectors. The other notable artists were Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, etc. The director of the Indian movie, Kaho na…pyaar hai is Rakesh Roshan who also produced the movie. The music is given by Rajesh Roshan and cinematography is done by Kabir Lal.
