Sanjay Dutt made his acting debut with the Hindi film "Rocky" in the year 1981. He has acted in many blockbuster movies that have established him as a leading actor. He is lovingly called "Sanju Baba" by his close friends and fans.

Early Life of Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Balraj Dutt was born on 29th July 1959 in Mumbai to renowned actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis. He has two sisters, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. He was educated at the Lawrence School Sanawar. He has also worked as a child actor and appeared in the film "Reshma Aur Shera" in 1972, along with his father. His mother died in 1981, shortly before his debut film"s premiere; her death is cited as the instigator of his drug abuse.

Career of Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt made his movie debut in Bollywood with the film "Rocky" that released in 1981. Unfortunately his mother died 3 days before the premier of his debut film. During the 1980`s he was featured in several other films such as "Hathyar", "Kabzaa", "Taaqatwar", "Naam", "Jeeva" and "Vidhata". Sanjay Dutt has been established as a Bollywood star by the 1990s and acted in hit films like "Khoon Ka Karz", "Thanedaar" and "Sadak". The major turning point in his career finally came with Subhash Ghai directed film "Khalnayak". This film made the whole nation aware about the birth of a new star. His convincing portrayal of the villainous role in the film gave his career a much-needed boost. He also received a Filmfare nomination for the role of a best actor. His next powerhouse performance was in the Bollywood flick "Vaastav", for which he received awards and critical acclamations. Subsequently he starred in many other movies like "Mission Kashmir", "Kartoos", "Haseena Maan Jayegi", "Daag: The Fire", "Khoobsurat" and others. Sanjay Dutt earned major success with his movie "Munnabhai M.B.B.S." and "Lage Raho Munnabhai" which earned him many prestigious awards of the film fraternity and further cemented his place as one of the best actors in the Indian Film Industry.

His performance in the film has been appreciated by both his fans and critics. He was also seen excelling in diverse roles in Bollywood films such as "Jodi No. 1", "Shootout at Lokhandwala", "Kidnap", "Son of Sardaar", "Dhamaal", "Blue" (2009), "All The Best: Fun Begins", "Knockout" and many others.

Along with his friend and director Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay Dutt also formed a production company called "White Feather Films". Jointly they have produced Bollywood films like "Kaante", "Musafir" and "Zinda". He has also co-hosted the Indian television reality show Big Boss Season 5, along with Salman Khan. He along with entrepreneur Raj Kundra launched India"s first professionally organised mixed martial arts league "Super Fight League" in 2012.

Personal Life of Sanjay Dutt
In the year 1986, Sanjay Dutt married Richa Sharma and the couple had a daughter named Trishala. Soon Sharma was diagnosed with cancer and died on 10th December 1996. He next married model Rhea Pillai in 1998 but they soon got divorced in 2005. Finally Sanjay Dutt married Manyata in 2008. The couple have a boy named Shahraan and a girl named Iqra.
