Plot of Koi..Mil Gaya

The plot revolved around Rohit Mehra, played by Hrithik Roshan, a boy with a learning disability that befriends an alien. Shot in scenic locations like Kasaul, Nainital, Bhimtal and parts in Canada, the movie opens with the character of Sanjay (Rakesh Roshan) in Canada, where he is a scientist and has invented a computer to send sound waves into outer space to make contact with extra terrestrials. Using the sound "om", he made contact with alien life but his claims were laughed off by other scientists. He was killed in a car accident when a spaceship appeared over his car and caused an excited Sanjay to crash. He is killed instantly, but his pregnant wife Sonia (Rekha) survived but their unborn child was affected in the car crash.

Koi..Mil Gaya, Indian MovieThis Bollywood science fiction entails the story of a boy who accidentally summons an alien through his dead father"s computer. The alien spaceship comes to earth but one of the extra terrestrials gets left behind but is found by the mentally challenged lead protagonist of the story. The boy names him Jadoo (Indravardhan Purohit) and pledges to send him back to his own planet to save him from the Indian government"s persecution.

Hrithik Roshan played the role of a mentally handicapped child tremendously bullied and the six kids accompanying him were Rohit"s loyal cohorts. The film has no proper antagonist per se as Raj Saxena played by Rajat Bedi is just a bully with his little gang, who thinks he can boss people around because his father is the District Collector.
