Hansika Motwani, Indian Actress Hansika Motwani was born on 9th August, 1991. She completed her schooling from Podhar International School and is currently completing her A Levels equivalent to the 11th grade in Indian Education System. She is well versed in a number of languages but her native tongue is Sindhi. Her father Pradeep Motwani is a businessman, and her mother Seema Motwani, is a dermatologist.

Career of Hansika Motwani
Hansika began her television career with the serial `Shakalaka Boom Boom.` Later she also acted as a child artist in other popular serials like `Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chaand` and `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. As a child she also acted in the blockbuster movie Koi Mil Gaya with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan. She made her acting debut on the silver screen in the lead role in Puri Jagannadh`s Telugu film `Desamuduru` opposite Allu Arjun. In this film she portrays the character of a `sannyasini` or nun.

She made her acting debut in the Bollywood film industry in the much-awaited film `Aap Ka Suroor-The Real Love Story` paired opposite the Indian pop singing sensation Himesh Reshammiya. She has won rare reviews for her performance in the next film `Jaago` directed by Mehul Kumar. This film was based on a real life incident and gave her the chance to establish herself as a gifted actress. She also took part in the celebrity singing competition Celebrity Fame Gurukul.

Hansika has also acted in Kannada movies. Her debut movie was `Bindaas` with Puneet Rajkumar. She paired with Jr. NTR in the film Kantri, which was released in May 2008. The film was a moderate hit. In Tamil movies she made her debut with the flick Engeyum Kadhal opposite Jayam Ravi. After this movie she has signed three other Tamil films, Mappillai opposite Dhanush, and Velayudham opposite Joseph Vijay and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin. Hansika has appeared in many commercials like Hyundai Santro commercial with ShahRukh Khan, Nirma soap.
