Screen Awards for Best Actor are awarded to the actors of Bollywood for delivering appreciable performances in various films. In 2014 the award was won by Farhan Akhtar for the movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Screen Awards for Best ActorScreen Awards is presented by the film fraternity to the film personalities of Bollywood to commemorate their professional eminence. It is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies of India dedicated to Hindi film industry. The winners and nominations for the event under various categories are decided by a panel of jury members. Screen Awards was introduced in the year 1994 and is held every year. It is the only award ceremony of India which has been graced by the Executive Director and the Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

20th Screen Awards
20th Screen Awards was organized to honour the best movies of the year 2013. It was held on 14th January 2014 and was aired on 25th January 2014 on Life Ok channel. The event was anchored by Shahrukh Khan. Bollywood movies in 2013 featured some of the most accomplished actors of Hindi cinema who delivered commendable performances in distinct characters. The nominations under this category of 20th Screen Awards included Aamir Khan for Dhoom 3, Dhanush for Raanjhanaa, Irrfan Khan for The Lunchbox, Rajkummar Rao for Shahid, Ranbir Kapoor for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Shahrukh Khan for Chennai Express and Farhan Akhtar for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Farhan Akhtar walked away with the award for his excellent portrayal in the movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Farhan Akhtar
Farhan Akhtar is an actor, playback singer, lyricist, director, producer and screenwriter. In a short span of time he has gained a strong footing in the film industry garnering much praise for his works. In the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag he essayed the role of Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete. His performance received immense acclamations. He has been the winner of several prestigious accolades including National Film Award.
