West Central Railway has its headquarters at Jabalpur with several express and mail trains plying regularly.

West Central Railway, JabalpurWest Central Railway was a private company during the British rule in India. After independence this was nationalized and became a part of the Indian railway services. This zone was reconstituted in April 2003 to cater to the needs of the passengers. Since then its headquarters is situated at Jabalpur. Apart from Jabalpur the other divisions are Bhopal and Kota. Indian states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and others are connected via several trains that run regularly at West Central Railway, Jabalpur.

Adequate numbers of facilities have been provided for the travellers who avail the services of the West Central Railway. There are state of the art facilities available to the passengers. Besides the express and mail trains there are freight trains in this zone too. Jabalpur is a well known industrial sector while the other states like Madhya Pradesh are famous for their leisure destinations.
