Early Life of Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma was born on 1st May 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Her father is an Army Officer while her mother is a homemaker. Her elder brother is film producer Karnesh Sharma. She did her schooling at the Army School and later graduated from Mount Carmel College with a degree in Arts. She was raised in Bengaluru. Career of Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma is a former model. Wendell Rodricks selected her as his finale model at the Lakme Fashion Week. Later she has done lovely campaigns for "Silk and Shine", "Whisper" and "Fiat Palio". She got her first break in 2008 in Aditya Chopra`s "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" that starred Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. The movie under the Yash Raj Banner was a huge hit at the box office and Anushka`s performance was well appreciated. She next acted in "Badmash Company" opposite Shahid Kapoor. Later, she ventured into two other films including "Band Baaja Baaraat", directed by Maneesh Sharma, where she appeared with debutant Ranveer Singh and received rave reviews. She also appeared in Nikhil Advani`s movie with Akshay Kumar in "Patiala House". In December 2011, she was featured in another movie of Yashraj Films`s "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl". Her next movie was Yash Chopra`s "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" where she worked with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Her performance was also appreciated in Vishal Bharadwaj`s "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola" which was a political satire featured in the backdrop of rustic surroundings of Haryana.

In 2014, she appeared in Rajkumar Hirani`s religious satire "PK". Then Anushka Sharma launched a production company named Clean Slate Films, whose first release was Navdeep Singh`s thriller "NH10" (2015), in which she also played the lead role. The film was screened at the 5th Beijing International Film Festival. Then in the same year, she appeared in Anurag Kashyap`s period crime drama "Bombay Velvet" co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar.Anushka Sharma, Bollywood Actress "Bombay Velvet" was screened at the Locarno and Bucheon film festivals. Also in the same year, Sharma featured in the supporting role of Zoya Akhtar`s "Dil Dhadakne Do". In 2016, she appeared in "Sultan" co-starring Salman Khan. Then she appeared in romantic drama "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" along with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai.

In 2017, she appeared in the fantasy comedy "Phillauri", co-starring Suraj Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh. She next worked with Shah Rukh Khan for the third time in Imtiaz Ali`s "Jab Harry Met Sejal". Her first film release of 2018 was the supernatural horror film "Pari", where she starred in and produced co-starring Parambrata Chatterjee.

Anushka Sharma married cricketer Virat Kohli in Italy on 11th December 2017. Sharma is a celebrity endorser for a variety of brands and products, including TVS Scooty, Nivea, Elle 18 cosmetics, Bru coffee and Pantene.
