Kanji Wildlife Sanctuary
Kanji Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary of Jammu and Kashmir. It is set on the rough geographical location of Jammu and Kashmir. The dusty plateau, blizzard, and the conifers attract the trekkers. It covers 250sq.km of the rough and undulating mountainous landscape of the Kanji River Valley
Lachipora Wildlife Sanctuary
Lachipora Wildlife Sanctuary has been named after 'Lachipora' village which is present in the catchments of the protected area. It is located at a distance of nearly 90 kilometres away from the western portion of Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is spreading over the northern banks of Jhelum River. Lachipora Wildlife Sanctuary is surrounded by Maidan Forests towards its southern side, the ceasefire line on its western end, Kakau Forest in Langet Forest Division on its northern portion and Limber and Bagna Forests in its eastern side. Lachipora Wildlife Sanctuary was established by the efforts of the Department of Wildlife Protection 1987.
Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary

Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary
Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary which is sometimes known in the map of tourism section of Jammu and Kashmir as Hirpora National Park, is located in Shopian district of Kashmir, 70 kilometers south of Srinagar in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary spreads over an area of 341 km2. Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary is bounded to the north by Lake Gumsar, northeast by Hirpora village, east by Rupri, south by Saransar and to the west by the Pir Panjal pass. The slopes of Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary are gentle to moderately steep on the eastern aspect and very steep with many cliffs on the higher northern and western aspect. The southern and south-eastern portions of Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary are moderately steep.
Karakoram Wildlife Sanctuary

Dachigam National Park
Dachigam National Park is located 22 kilometres from Srinagar, in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. Dachigam National Park covers an area of 141 square kilometres. The name of the park literally stands for "ten villages" which could be in memory of the ten villages that were relocated for its formation. Dachigam National Park has been a protected area since 1910, first under the care of the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir and later under the observation of the concerned government authorities. It was initially created to ensure clean drinking water supply for the city of Srinagar in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It was finally upgraded and declared a National Park in the year 1981.
Salim Ali National Park

Salim Ali National Park is notified in 1986. The name of Salim Ali National Park commemorated the Indian ornithologist Salim Ali.
