Born in Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan, Tina Parekh is an Indian television actress, a model and also a voice actress. She received her formal education from the Mithibai College in Mumbai and eventually made her way into the acting world. She is best known for her roles as Shruti Om Agarwal in ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ and as Melissa in ‘Khichdi’ and ‘Instant Khichdi.’ She played Mihir Mishra's mom in the commercial advertisement of BSNL B-fone.

Tina Parekh is famously known for her roles in Ekta Kapoor’s K serials, where she portrayed the roles of Shruti Om Agarwal and Mukti Deshmukh in ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ respectively. Prior to appearing in Ekta Kapoor’s hit television shows, Tina Parekh has also appeared in children’s fantasy shows like ‘Son Pari’ and television drama like ‘Manshaa’ on Star Plus and Zee TV separately. She has also showed her good comic timing on hit sitcoms like ‘Khichdi’ and ‘Instant Khichdi,’ where she had a recurring role as Melissa Parekh.
