The museum has a collection of paintings, which are ancient. They are known to be painted in Mughal and Rajput style. The museum also has a reference library, which houses important oriental publications.
A noteworthy display of this museum is an ancient skull of an elephant. It is considered to be a centre of tourist attraction.
