Another legend states that the seventh canto of Navanath Kathasar states that Machindranath, the saint served the goddess Vajreshwari for a month by giving her a bath in the water of the hot springs. The water in this hot water spring is rich in sulphur and has healing properties for which devotees are attracted here.
