Mother's Wax Museum
Mother's Wax Museum is located in the metropolitan city of Kolkata in West Bengal. More specifically, this museum is located in the satellite township of Rajarhat, New Town. It serves as a depository of 19 wax statues of famous personalities, belonging to different work fields. A veteran wax sculpture named Susanta Ray is credited with the creation of all the spectacular wax figures. This museum was opened to public by the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee. Some of the Indian icons whose wax models adorn the Mother's Wax Museum are nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore; singers like Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar; and politician, Narendra Modi.
