The Princely State of Jiliya was one of the prominent princely states of India that were administered by native rulers or Indian princes under the indirect control of the British Government of India. The state of Jiliya was also known as Abhaypura and was a Princely Thikana of the Princely State of Jodhpur during the rule of the British Empire in India. It was a First Class Sirayat. The native rulers of the territory held the title of Tazeem Naresh which was derived from the Urdu word Tazeem, which means Honour or Respect. At present Jiliya is situated in the district of Nagaur of the state of Rajasthan.
After the nation achieved independence from the British rule in the year 1947, the state was acceded to the newly formed Union of India, also known as Dominion of India.
