The Bhopal Airport is situated at a distance of 15 km to the south-east of Bhopal city on National Highway 12 from Bhopal to Jaipur. Air Deccan (Delhi, Jabalpur); Air India IC (fomerly Indian Airlines), Air India Regional (Delhi, Indore, Mumbai, Gwalior) and Jet Airways (Delhi, Indore, Mumbai) are the domestic airlines serving the airport. Only Air India (Dubai, Sharjah) fulfills international flights.
