The Bhopal Airport is the main airport of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India. The airport was originally named Raja Bhoj Airport. The Bhopal Airport is situated at a distance of 15 km to the south-east of Bhopal city on National Highway 12 from Bhopal to Jaipur. Air Deccan (Delhi, Jabalpur); Air India IC (fomerly Indian Airlines), Air India Regional (Delhi, Indore, Mumbai, Gwalior) and Jet Airways (Delhi, Indore, Mumbai) are the domestic airlines serving the airport. Only Air India (Dubai, Sharjah) fulfills international flights.
