Zhob Brigade

The Zhob Brigade was a former armed infantry formation that operated under the British Indian Army during the Second World War. The brigade remained in active service from 1939 to 1945. It was raised under the British Empire in India in September 1939. The armed formation was developed for providing military service on the North West Frontier. Later the troops were stationed in Italy, Burma and Africa.

The troops took part in a number of British battles and campaigns and also fought in the Burma Champaign in the South East Asian Theatre of the Second World War.
