Vindhyavasini Devi Temple is situated in Vindhyachal on the banks of the holy river Ganges. It is one of the most sacred Shaktipeeths of the main deity.

The temple often witnesses large gathering and it became a human ocean on the eve of Navaratri festival which falls in the month of April and October. During the month of June, the premises witnesses kajali competition in which large number of people took part. During Navratras in Chaitra (April) and Ashwin (October) months big congregations are held. In the month of June kajali competitions are held.
