Taleti Masjid is one of the impressive mosques of the Muslim period built within the great hill fort of Bayana in Rajasthan. As it is situated at the bottom of the hill it was known as Taleti Masjid.
Architecture of Taleti Masjid
Taleti Masjid is a simple building having two aisles with seven opening in the front. It is almost 55 feet in length and about 22 feet in breadth. An inscription has been engraved on the mosque in Persian that mentions about the construction of a mosque as well as a well during the reign of Auhad Khan Karim ul Mulk by Mahtaf Khan. It was done during the month of Ramzan in 1420 AD. Auhad Khan earlier known as Karim ul Mulk was the son of Auhadi who established the Auhadi Dynasty.
