Surya-deva Yajvan
Surya-deva Yajvan is one of the later astronomers who are popularly known for his commentary on Lagumanasa and Aryabhatiya.
Overall the scholar can be regarded as one of the scholars of later Hindu astronomy who mark their presence with the publications and commentaries they place on the old texts. The main intension was to simplify the old texts so that it can be read by the common man. Surya-deva Yajvan too is one such scholar who can be regarded for his distinctive commentaries.
