Surat Gujarat AirportThe Surat Gujarat Airport is exclusively a domestic airport. It is situated at Magdalla, near Surat in the Western Indian state of Gujarat. The airport complex comprises a total area of 3.12 km. It was newly inaugurated on 6th May, 2007, with an Indian Airlines Airbus 319 flight to Delhi on 1240 I.S.T. The new airport is accessible through Gaurav-Path, a newly formulated express-road at Piplod. Presently there is no public transportation available to reach the airport. Indian (Delhi); Kingfisher Airlines (Jaipur, Ahmedabad) are the airlines flying to and from the airport.
