Early Life of Sidharth Malhotra
Sidharth Malhotra was born on 16th January 1985 to Sunil Malhotra and Rimma Malhotra in Delhi. He did his schooling at Don Bosco School and subsequently graduated in Commerce from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University. Since his college days he has worked as a ramp model which associated him with brands such as Pantaloons, Color Plus and NIIT. He has also walked the ramp for famed designers like Rohit Bal and Manish Malhotra. His modelling assignments also took him to Dubai and Paris. Apart from these he has also appeared in the covers of popular magazines like Gladrags and RedBook. He became the first man ever to surface twice on the cover of Men`s Health India. In 2009 he won the Face of the Year at the popular Gladrags men`s pageant. He was also the NDTV Model of the Year in 2010.

Sidharth Malhotra stepped in the film world as an assistant director to Karan Johar`s 2010 flick "My Name Is Khan". He made his cinematic debut as an actor in the year 2012 with Karan Johar directed "Student of the Year" in which he starred alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. The film was successful at the box office and Sidharth`s pleasing performance was appreciated by the critics. In his following venture he featured alongside Parineeti Chopra and Adah Sharma in the 2014 film "Hasee Toh Phasee" under the direction of Vinil Mathew. Sidharth once again succeeded in gaining applauses for his confident performance in this film. Subsequently Sidharth Malhotra starred in the romance-thriller "Ek Villain" directed by Mohit Suri. The movie also featured Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The film had a bumper opening at the box office. Sidharth essayed an unconventional role in the movie which met positive reviews and praises from the critics. Some of his other movies are "Brother", "Kapoor & Sons", "Baar Baar Dekho", "A Gentleman", "Ittefaq", "Aiyaary", "Jabariya Jodi" etc. Among these movies, "Kapoor & Sons" was a big hit. Sidharth was highly praised for his acting in this film.

Sidharth has also collaborated with PETA for a campaign to create awareness for dogs. In the year 2016, he performed in different cities of USA for the "Dream Team 2016" tour.
