Mulshi Dam

Mulshi Dam is a major dam, erected on the Mula River in the Taluka Mulshi of Maharashtra.

Mulshi Dam is included in the Taluka Mulshi administrative division of the Pune district of Maharashtra State. Water from the Mulshi dam is used for irrigation. Tata Power Company LTD operates the Mulshi Dam for producing electricity at the nearby Bhira hydroelectric power plant. The station maneuvers six 25MW Pelton turbines that were established in 1927. The Mulshi Dam mostly supplies power to Mumbai.
