Landi Kotal Brigade
Landi Kotal Brigade operated under the British Indian Army. It remained in active service from 1939 to 1945. It was raised in September 1939 by the British Empire in India.

The infantry formation of the Landi Kotal Brigade operated under the British Indian Army. It remained in active service from the year 1939 to 1945. It was raised in September 1939 by the British Empire in India during the Second World War. The troops of the Landi Kotal Brigade fought in several British battles and military operation during World War II. The troops primarily served in the service on the North West Frontier. Later it was posted in Burma and Africa. The Landi Kotal Brigade was formally dissolved in August 1945. Brigadier H. T. D. Hickman and Brigadier E. N. Goddard were the most noted commanding officers of the infantry formation.
