The festival attracts many devotees from far off places. Main festival of the temple is celebrated for 7 days in grand manner, which ends on the `Thiruvonam` in the malayalam month Meenam. Special pooja and dwadasanamam kaalkazhichuttu are conducted here in the month of Visakham on Ekadashi day. Another festival Vishu Kani is celebrated on the first day of the month of medom. Other beautiful festivals like Narasimha Jayanthi and Thiruvonam are also celebrated here.
