The Jambu River is formed by the juice of the rotten apples of the Jambu tree. The apples of the Jambu tree are as large as elephants. When they were rotten, they used to fall upon the crest of the mountain and thus formed the Jambu River. The inhabitants of the area drink the water of Jambu River. It is believed that after drinking the water of Jambu River, the inhabitants pass their days in content and health, which is not affected by organic decay.
