Gurbani Judge is a video jockey (VJ), actress and model. She is popularly known as VJ Bani. Known for her penchant for collecting tattoos, Bani is presently one of the leading VJ`s in the country. She came into light after participating in the reality show "MTV Roadies". She was the runner up of the MTV Roadies (season 4). She has anchored a number of programmes. She has also acted in movies like "Aap Kaa Surroor" and "Soundtrack".
Early Life and Education of Gurbani Judge
She was born on November 29, 1988 in the city of Chandigarh. Bani received her primary education (till 7th standard) from Vivek High school. She then enrolled her name in Woodstock International School in the foothills of the Himalayas in Mussoorie and graduated from there in 2006.
Career of Gurbani Judge
Shortly after receiving her graduation degree, she auditioned for MTV Hero Roadies Season 4 from Chandigarh itself. Her aim behind this step was to travel the country and do something fun before heading out to Art School in the states. However, things changed after she successfully cleared the audition. Selection for MTV Hero Roadies Season 4 turned out turning point in her career.
Her outspoken nature, attitude and unwillingness to play games with contestants soon made her a favourite contestant among the public. She ended up becoming the runner up of the MTV Roadies (season 4). Her performance garnered positive response and helped her earn the position of an anchor at MTV shortly after.
She has anchored MTV Roadies (season 6) , MTV Roadies (season 7), MTV Roadies (season 9), MTV Roadies (season 10), MTV Roadies (season 11), MTV Vogue Style in 60- Seasons 1 and 2, MTV Campus Diaries, Unplugged, Pepsi MTV The Voice of Youngistaan to name a few.
In addition to her work as an MTV anchor, Bani has spread her wings to appear in the silver screen. She made her acting debut in 2007 with the Himesh Reshammiya starrer movie "Aap Kaa Surroor". In the film she was seen portraying the role of Riya`s (Hansika Motwani) friend "Bani". Next she appeared in the 2011 Soundtrack featuring Rajeev Khandelwal and Soha Ali Khan.
Bani has also appeared in an advertisement for Aircel with Dhoni (2010) and made a special appearance as "Sheena" on Disney`s popular show "Kyaa Mast Hai Life" (2011). She was also a contestant in the show "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi".
