Her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is the current Nawab and a former captain of the Indian cricket team. Her mother, Sharmila Tagore is a reputed film actress of the nation. She is a distant relative of the noble laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Soha Ali Khan`s brother, Saif Ali Khan is also a popular Bollywood actor. Soha is also a distant cousin of the late Nafisa Joseph and has a sister Saba, who is a jewellery designer.

This Indian actress earned incredible popularity in Bollywood within a very short span of time. Soha Ali Khan attended The British School in New Delhi, then moved on to study History at Balliol College, Oxford University and completed a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. Before entering film career, Soha worked as an employee in the Ford Foundation and Citibank. Soha Ali Khan is involved in a range of activities other than being associated with the acting world. She serves on the Advisory Board for a new project of the public entrepreneur group, Res Publica. She has also modelled for the spring-summer collection of Globus which is an Indian chain of boutiques.

Soha Ali Khan`s Career
Soha started her acting career with the Bollywood production Dil Maange More (2004), where she acted with talented actors like Shahid Kapoor and two other leading actresses, namely Ayesha Takia and Tulip Joshi. Ever since, she received critical acclaim for her performances in the Bengali film Antar Mahal (2005), a Bengali flick also co starring Jackie Shroff and later Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra`s Rang De Basanti (2006) also featuring Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kunal Kapoor Soha Ali Khan also came up with her release Khoya Khoya Chand (2007) by Sudhir Mishra. This film did not do well at the box office, but her performance was commendable according to the critics. She has also acted in other movies like Tum Mile, 99, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and many more.
