Christianity is one of the major religions of the country and is widely spread in different regions of the country. A number of churches have been established in various parts of the country that are serving this religion since ages. Churches of Rajasthan are also the testaments of the fact that Christianity is prevalent in this state from ancient times. Churches of Rajasthan Shepherd Memorial Church
Shepherd Memorial Church is situated in Udaipur and is considered as the oldest church of the region. It was established in 1877 and was named after Dr. James Shepherd. It was built with British architectural style. Old stones forming the frame of the church and the pointed pillars are the most alluring features of the church.

Rajasthan Pentecostal Church
Rajasthan Pentecostal Church was constructed by Dr. Thomas Matthew who was an Apostle of North India. The church houses a number of modern amenities including a spectacular and huge garden, pointed curved windows and attractive wooden chairs.

Our Lady of Fatima Cathedral
Situated in Udaipur, Our Lady of Fatima Cathedral is the only Catholic Church of this region. The church has a huge hall for accommodating almost 500 devotees. It has magnificent interiors and vast spaces surround this beautiful church.

Churches of Rajasthan St. Gregorios Orthodox Church
St. Gregorios Orthodox Church was founded in the year 1987 in Udaipur as a parish of Malankara Orthodox Church. The architectural style of these churches closely resembles the Syrian churches. It is governed by Diocese of Delhi Malankara Orthodox Church and has the capacity to accommodate about 200 devotees.

Churches of Rajasthan are exemplary of brilliant and intricate architecture. Different styles of architecture frames different churches and the fusion of two of more styles in some churches has also bestowed immense elegance to these monuments. Although some of the churches were built in ancient times, they have been well preserved and maintained till date along with their antique artefacts. These structures also serve as important landmarks in certain regions. Churches of Rajasthan contribute greatly to the national heritage by being significant monuments of the country.
