The Agra Volunteer Rifle Corps was a former artillery regiment of the Volunteer Corps under the British Indian Army. The auxiliary army unit was raised on 9th August 1876 by the British Government of India. It was based in Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
On 1st April 1917, the Agra Volunteer Rifle Corps was re-designated as the 19th Agra Company. It was again renamed on 1st October 1920 as the No. 17 (Agra) Field Battery.
The troops of the regiment participated in several campaigns under the administration of the British Empire in India.
