Patriotic Nazrul Geeti, Indian Traditional MusicNazrul Geeti refers to the songs composed and written by Kazi Nazrul Islam, which are almost 4000 in total. Nazrul Geeti has been composed in different musical styles; one of them is Revolutionary Mass Music or Patriotic Songs. Kazi Nazrul Islam, being a revolutionary or rebel poet, also composed several patriotic songs, which are a symbol of revolution and a hope against fascism and oppression. The songs played a major role in Bangladesh Liberation War and were also used during Indian Independent Movement.
