Krishnasar Lake is located at a distance of 115 km from Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir of Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is easily accessible via Srinagar up to village Shitkadi. From Shitkadi, the tourists can take ponies to reach Krishnasar Lake. On the way to the lake, one will pass through Nichnai Pass, which is set at an altitude of 4100 meters above sea level. Nichnai Pass is a destination for all trek lovers and is located at 4139m above sea level. This pass is accessible from June to September and it is best to enjoy the beauty of this untouched place by trekking around. The trek starts at Sonamarg, which is about 3 hour drive from Srinagar.
