Flora of Balaram Ambaji Wildlife Sanctuary
The Balaram Ambaji Wildlife Sanctuary boasts of 483 species of flora including 40 species of grass, 209 herbs, 107 trees, 58 shrubs and 10 lower plants like Kanji, Palash, Dhak, Saledi, Indrajav, Modad, Tesu, Behda, Bili, Dhavado, Timru, Musali, Golar, Arjun Salad, Kadaya, Khakhara, Dudhi, Desi Baval, Karanji, etc.
Fauna of Balaram Ambaji Wildlife Sanctuary
Leopard, Sloth Bear, Small Indian Civet, Striped Hyena, Porcupine, Pangolin, Fox, Bluebull, reptiles consisting of Monitor Lizard, poisonous and non-poisonous snakes, Star Tortoise are all found in this wildlife reserve of Gujarat. There exists a large variety of birds involving Osprey, White Backed Vulture, Stork, Black Vulture, Spoonbill and many others. Some other wild animals which might be observed here are Wild Boar, Rhesus Macaque, Common Langur, Indian Hare and so on.
