25th Indian Infantry Brigade
Indian Infantry Brigade operated under the British Indian Army and served from 1941 to 1945. In August 1941, the infantry unit was allotted to the 8th Indian Infantry Division.

The infantry formation of the 25th Indian Infantry Brigade operated under the British Indian Army. It remained in active service from 1941 to 1945. It was raised at Ahmednagar in British India in February, 1941 by the British Empire in India during the Second World War. Later the brigade was attached the 10th Indian Infantry Division. However in August 1941, the infantry unit was allotted to the 8th Indian Infantry Division. The troops later participated in the Anglo Soviet invasion of Iran. They were again attached to the 10th Indian Infantry Division in 1941 and were sent to take part in the Battle of Gazala. It also provided military service in the Italian Campaign and the Western Desert Campaign. Afterwards it was attached to the 46th (North Midland) Infantry Division in December 1944 and was sent to Italy.

Formation of 25th Indian Infantry Brigade
The 25th Indian Infantry Brigade incorporated a number of British Indian infantry regiments. These are listed below-
* 2/11th Sikh Regiment (March 1941 - March 1942; June 1942 - August 1942)
* 3/9th Jat Regiment (March 1941 - January 1942)
* 1/5th Mahratta Light Infantry (April 1941 - April 1942)
* 2/8th Gurkha Rifles (June 1941 - July 1941; October 1944 - November 1944)
* 13th Duke of Connaught`s Own Lancers (August 1941)
* 1st King`s Own Royal Regiment (November 1941 - October 1943)
* X Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (May 1942 - June 1942)
* 3/5th Mahratta Light Infantry (June 1942 - August 1944)
* 164th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (June 1942 - August 1942)
* 4/13th Frontier Force Rifles (August 1942 - February 1943)
* 3/18th Royal Garhwal Rifles (May 1943 - August 1945)
* 8th King`s Own Royal Regiment (November 1943 - December 1944)
* 1st King`s Own Royal Regiment (January 1944 - August 1945)
* 2/3rd Gurkha Rifles (August 1944)
* Lovat Scouts (August 1944 - April 1945)
* 1/2nd Punjab Regiment (August 1944 - September 1944)
* 2/4th Gurkha Rifles (October 1944)
* 4/10th Baluch Regiment (October 1944)
* 4/11th Sikh Regiment (January 1945 - April 1945)
