46th Indian Infantry Brigade
46th Indian Infantry Brigade was raised at Ahmednagar in the state of Maharashtra in June 1941. It remained in active service for a short period till 1942.

The infantry formation of the 46th Indian Infantry Brigade operated under the British Indian Army. It remained in active service for a short period from the year 1941 to 1942. It was raised at Ahmednagar in the state of Maharashtra in June 1941 by the British Empire in India during the Second World War. Later the brigade was attached the 17th Indian Infantry Division.

The troops of the 46th Indian Infantry Brigade fought in the Battle of Sittang Bridge during the Burma campaign in World War II. In February 1942, the infantry formation suffered heavy casualties while withdrawing to the Sittang River. Later it was distributed into small detachments. The 46th Indian Infantry Brigade was formally dissolved on 25 February 1942.

The 46th Indian Infantry Brigade incorporated a number of British Indian infantry regiments. These are listed below-
* 3/7th Gurkha Rifles
* 5/17th Dogra Regiment
* 7/10th Baluch Regiment
* 4th Burma Rifles
* 2nd The Duke of Wellington`s Regiment
* 2nd The King`s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry
