Kapilash Peak, one of the Indian mountain peaks is located in the Odhisa state of India. Kapilash is also popularly known as 'Kailash of Odisha'. Attractions of Kapilash Peak
The peak houses the temple of Lord Chandra Sekhar at a height of 457 mts. which is a legendary abode of Lord Siva. To have a glimpse of the God, one is required to climb 1352 steps or drive up through the "Twelve twisting way". Famous festival celebrated here is on Mahashivratri.
The other temples
that can be visited here are the Temple of Narayan, Biswanath, and Bhubaneswari. Many maths of this mountain are also worth visiting.
Kendupania cave, Debasava and the cemetery of Sridhar Swami are also attractive spots of this mountain. It also has a park which houses deer, bears, peacock, Indian python, king cobra, etc. A botanical garden is also there which preserves varieties of indigenous plants with boating below the top of the hills.

The nearest railway station is Dhenkanal Railway Station. It can also be accessed by buses.
