River Kritamala is a mythological river that rises in the Malaya hills.

In the Puranas it is mentioned that River Kritamala is said to be a river of the country of Dravida or Malabar. The river rises in the Malaya Hills.

In a legendary story it is said that Manu, son of Vivaswat, offered the oblation of water to the Pitris in the River Kritamala.
