era. In 17th century, after the death
, Mughal was shattered into pieces and Maratha Empire
emerged in the entire part of modern Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh
. At that time, Alibaug was developed by Sarkhel Kanhoji Aangre the Naval Chief of Shivaji's Kingdom. This coastal town was built to observe the Siddis and the Nizam Shahi Dynasty
