It is a viewer"s choice award organized by the entire Zee network. The award ceremony was introduced in the year 1998. The event congregates various Bollywood professionals and bright luminaries for celebrating the works and achievements of Indian cinema. Sparkling performances and award presentations make the ceremony a cherished one. The event presents awards under varied categories to appreciate and honour the works of Bollywood professionals in different cinematic fields.

14th Zee Cine Awards
14th Zee Cine Awards was organized in the city of Mumbai on 8th February 2014 for commemorating the best films of the previous year, 2013. The event was aired on 23rd of February on multiple channels. Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan served as the co-anchors for the event. Bollywood films are always studded with enchanting musical compositions and the films of 2013 also exhibited the same essence. The nominations for Zee Cine Awards for Best Music Director included Vishal Shekhar for Chennai Express, Shankar Ehsaan Loy for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Pritam for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Jeet Ganguly, Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari for Aashiqui 2, A. R. Rahman for Raanjhanaa and Amit Trivedi for Lootera. The award was won by Jeet Ganguly, Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari for composing the music for the film Aashiqui 2.
