Early Life of Tulsi Kumar
Tulsi Kumar was born in the year 1986 to the film producer and founder of T-Series music label Gulshan Kumar and his wife Sudesh Kumari. Her brother Bhushan Kumar is a well known music tycoon and the current producer of the music company T-Series. She completed her education from Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. She was brought up in a musical environment at home and thus was always passionate about music since a young age. She got trained in Indian classical music at Suresh Wadkar`s music academy in Mumbai since a tender age of six. She has also been guided by her mother. To fulfil the dream of her father as well to appease her own inclination towards music, she stepped in the entertainment world. She has also been trained under the expert tutelage of Pandit Vinod Mishra which polished her vocal skills.
Career of Tulsi Kumar
Tulsi Kumar started exploring the music world by singing albums, cover versions and remix numbers and gradually moved towards playback singing. She was introduced to the world of playback singing in films by the Bollywood personality Himesh Reshammiya. Her music career kicked off by singing songs for a number of movies such as Aksar, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Chup Chup Ke etc. Her very first album titled Love Ho Jaaye released in the year 2009. She also appeared in the music video of the album`s title track. The album marked a fair success. The songs `Tum Jo Aaye` from the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and `Mujhe Teri` from Paathshaala were huge hits. `Mujhe Ishq Se` from the movie Yaariyan also garnered much popularity among the listeners. `Janabe Jani Ya` from Aksar, `Shabbe Firaq` from Chup Chupke, title track of Humko Deewana Kar Gaye and `Akele Tanha` from Darling were other popular songs sung by her. Her voice has been tagged as fresh and vibrant and her hard work behind every venture makes the songs immensely pleasant. Other films in which Tulsi has lent her voice include Zindaggi Rocks, Action Replayy, Bhool Bhulaiya, Karzzzz, Aashayein, Dabangg 2, Aashiqui 2, Zilla Ghaziabad, Nautanki Saala and many more.
