Trasaddasyu

Trasaddasyu, another ruler of the Solar Dynasty was the son of Purukutsa. His father has ruled for just five years hence as an infant he ascended to the throne. Till the time Trasaddasyu grew up the ministers and his uncles conducted the state. Later

He grew up a courageous monarch. Trasaddasyu in an attempt to take revenge of his father`s disgrace from the Gandharvas led several campaigns against them and finally destroyed their power. Foreign dynasties kept off from attacking his India during his reign. Even the Aryans kept low during his time. The kingdom of Oudh was highly flourishing under him. Trasaddasyu had ruled for seventy long years from 2295 to 2225 BC. A true ruler, Mahabharata has also labelled him as a royal saint.
