At Tiruvallikkeni parthasarthy there are five shrines . The sanctum enshrines Venkatakrishnan with Rukmini, Balaraman, Satyaki, Anirudha, Pradyumna - seated and facing east. The Utsavar here is that of Parthasarathy. Scars from the arrows of Bheeshma`s bow are seen on Krishna here. There is a shrine dedicated to Ranganathar seen in a reclining pose; his consort is Vedavalli has a separate sanctum. There are shrines for Rama flanked by Sita, Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrugna and Hanuman facing east; Varadarajan seated on a Garuda facing east, and Narasimha seated and facing west. There is a shrine for Andal. This is the only shrine where Krishna is seen with his family.
Temple: Inscriptions from the 8th century Pallavas can be seen here. Vijayanagar rulersgave endowments. The temple covers 1.5 acres, and has two prakarams and a five-tiered rajagopuram. The golden image of Tirumaal Nachiyaar, adornis the chest of Venkatakrishnar and is a rare work of art. Venkateswara of Tirupati manifested himself as Parthasarathy here, and hence the name Venkatakrishnan. This shrine is considered equivalent to Tirupati, and Saturdays of Purattasi month are considered sacred. Festivals: The annual Bhrammotsavam is celebrated in the month of Chittirai. Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrated in Margazhi.
