Sravasta is the son of Yuvanaswa, who built the city of Sravasti.

In the legends it is said that Sravasta is the mythological king and the son of Yuvanaswa. Sravasta found and built the ancient city, Sravasti, in Kosala. Srawati is a city of some sanctity in the estimation of the Buddhists.
