Not only is she popular as a versatile dancer and actor, but also she has penned down lyrics and also composed music. This simple and practical individual has done 90 films in such a short span of her acting career. She has acted in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies, totalling over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She has also learnt Bharatnatyam dance and has performed worldwide.

Personal Life of Sukanya
Sukanya was born on 8th July, 1970 in Chennai. The actress is the younger cousin of actress Jaishree. She was married to Sridharan Rajagopalan in 2002 at United States. Later she got divorced in 2003 and came back to Chennai to resume her acting career from 2003.
