Renuka Shahane, Indian Television ActressRenuka Shahane is a very talented actress who has wooed the audiences of both the small screen as well as the silver screen with her girl-next-door appeal and commendable acting skills. She hailed from Maharashtra from a typical middle class family. She has completed her education from the St.Xaviers College and then did her M.A. in Clinical Psychology. She also shone in the field of arts and crafts and was an active participant in Malhar.

Career of Renuka Shahane
Renuka Shahane blossomed into the limelight from `Surabhi`, `Imtihaan` and `Kora Kagaaz`. She attended the screen test for a drama titled `PC Aur Massi` directed by Siddharth Kak. She was selected in that screen test and that was her first brush with acting. She started her television career with `Surabhi`, that was aired, on Doordarshan. Soon after she managed to bag roles in `Junoon`, `9 Malabar Hills`, `Sailabh`, `Kora Kagaaz` and `Tejaswini`. She shot to fame with the success of `Surabhi` and `Close-Up Antakshari`.

Renuka Shahane, Indian Television Actress Renuka also made a great mark in the Bollywood film industry with her widely acclaimed role in the Bollywood chartbuster `Hum Aapke Hain Kaun` along with Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan and Mohnish Behl. She is also actively involved in Marathi movies and theater. She took a much-needed gap from her acting career after the birth of her children but made her comeback in the television circuit with the show `Jeete Hain Jiske Liye`, which was a matured love story. She portrayed the lead character along with Anup Soni and Manini Mishra. She also acted in the serial `Circus` opposite Shahrukh Khan. Later Renuka began writing a column for Sunday Mid-day.

In her personal life Renuka Shahane tied the knot with another extremely talented actor Ashutosh Rana. The couple have two kids Shauryamaan and Satyendra.
