Ashutosh Rana, Indian ActorAshutosh Rana is a popular Indian film and television actor who has appeared in mostly negative and supporting roles in Hindi, Bengali and Telugu Films. He is one of the most admired actors of Bollywood and has been featured in several commercially successful films such as Tamanna, Sangharsh, Dushman, Raaz, Kalyug, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, Ramayana: The Epic and others. Ashutosh Rana, the Indian movie actor was born on 10th January 1964 in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh. His initial name was Ashutosh Jaisingh Neekhra. The ace actor married Renuka Shahane and the couple has two sons named Shauryaman and Satyendra. His mother tongue is Bundelkhandi. Ashutosh Rana completed his primary school education from Gadarwara. Later he joined the National School of Drama, Delhi to study acting, on the advice of Pandit Sree Dev Prabhakar Shastri, his spiritual guru.

Career of Ashutosh Rana
Ashutosh Rana started his career with popular TV serial Swabhimaan and went forth for other serials including Farz, Sazish, Kabhi Kabhi, Waris. He also anchored the TV show, Bazi Kiski once upon a time. In 2010 he appeared in a Star Plus show, Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha where he portrayed a negative character.

Ashutosh Rana`s first Bollywood film was Sanshodhan in1996 but it failed to make a mark. He became a popular face on Indian Cinema scene after his movie Dushman in 1998 opposite the dual role of Kajol. In the movie he played the character of a cold-blooded murderer and psychopath killer which brought him to the lime light. He next starred in movies like Ghulam and Zakhm. Rana`s next big hit was Sangharsh where he played the role of a religious fanatic and a psycho killer. He also starred in many other hit movies like Awarapan, Kalyug, Kasoor, Raaz and so on. Apart from Bollywood he has also acted in Telugu movies like Venky (2004) Bangaram (2006) and Okka Magadu (2008)

He received Filmfare Best Villain Award for Dushman in 1999 and Sangharsh in 2000.
