Manini Mishra is an Indian film and TV actress who rose to stardom by playing the role of "Katiya" in "Ssshhhh...Koi Hai", the horror TV Series on STAR Plus, "Pari Kapadia" in Sony Entertainment Television"s popular serial, "Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin". She is also well known for her role as "Dr. Sonali Barwe" in "C.I.D". She has been seen in many TV serials. She has also appeared in film.
Career of Manini Mishra
Manini Mishra participated in "Miss Delhi" in the year 1993 and won the title of "Face of Delhi". Soon she was advised by her very close friend Sushmita Sen to participate in the Miss India Contest. Manini was ranked 6th in that contest and also won the title "Miss Congeniality" in the Miss India pageant in the following year.
Soon after making a mark in the beauty pageant, Manini Mishra played an anchor on the show Mansi in the year 1997. She earned fame and recognition in the Sony Television"s popular soap "Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin" in which she played the friend of "Mallika", the fiancé of the male protagonist. In the other soap "Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan", Manini Mishra played the role of "Chanchal" who is an aunt to the daughters of the Garodia household. She has also been part of "The Great Indian Comedy Show" on STAR One way back in 2005. In one of the very popular shows of SAB TV titled "Twinkle Beauty Parlour" she portrayed the role of "Ragini". She also took part in the celebrity dance reality show "Nach Baliye Season 1" along with her husband. She also appeared briefly in another popular soap "Remix".
However Manini Mishra carved out a special niche for herself in the Bollywood/b> film industry with her performance-oriented roles. She enacted the role of Priyanka Chopra"s best friend in the Bollywood chartbuster "Krrish". She has also been seen in pithy roles in Bollywood flicks like "Rules: Pyar Ka Superhit Formula", "Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part 2" and "7 1/2 Phere".
