Puja Gupta, Bollywood ActressPuja Gupta is an Indian model and actress. She made a breakthrough in the year 2007, by winning the title of Miss India Universe. She went on to represent India at the 2007 Miss Universe contest in Mexico, where she was placed in the top ten, finishing in the 6th position. After that, she became the face of numerous famous brands and labels, such as Marico`s Hair & Care. Puja later made her acting debut in 2011, with the Bollywood comedy film "F.A.L.T.U", directed by Remo D`Souza and produced by Vashu Bhagnani under the banner Puja Entertainment (India) Ltd., where she was seen alongside Jackky Bhagnani, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Angad Bedi, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi.

Early Life and Family of Puja Gupta
Puja Gupta was born on July 6, 1988 in Delhi, India, to parents Roshan Lal Gupta and Madhoo Gupta. She had earlier appeared in films "Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar" (2002) as Soni, "Sab Kuch Hai Kuch Bhi Nahin" (2005) as Komal N. Malhotra and "Hastey Hastey Follow Your Heart" (2008).

Career of Puja Gupta
Puja Gupta achieved her breakthrough when she won the Femina Miss India Universe 2007 crown, and went on to represent India in the Miss Universe 2007 title in Mexico, finishing in the 6th place. After that, she became the face of Marico`s Hair & Care and other popular brands. She was also seen in the print campaigns for Pantaloons, Coca Cola, Monte Carlo, Bosch & Lomb and many more. She also featured in the Lays Tango campaign, alongside Saif Ali Khan.

Puja made her foray into movies, with the 2011 Hindi comedy film "F.A.L.T.U", directed by Remo D"Souza, playing the character of Puja Nigam. She subsequently featured in the 2013 zombie comedy film "Go Goa Gone", as Luna alongside Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari. Publicised as India`s first "Zom-Com", the film opened in May 2013 to favourable reviews from critics, with Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama rating the movie 3.5/5 stars and stating that "On the whole, Go Goa Gone is experimental since something like this has never been attempted earlier". The film was declared a hit at the box office. She was next seen in the Bollywood action crime thriller "Shortcut Romeo", featuring alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ameesha Patel. Puja Gupta was last seen in a cameo appearance in the song "Neendein Khul Jati Hai" of the 2015 Bollywood erotic thriller "Hate Story 3". She is also to appear in the thriller film "Snafu", directed by Sethu Sriram, alongside Abhay Deol and Manjot Singh.
