The Adavi nainar Dam located 7 km from Panpoli and the Thenmalai dam located 28 km from Panpoli are some of the prominent tourist spot here. Apart from these the Courtallam waterfalls and the Paalaruvi Falls located 9 km from Panpoli and 19 km from Panpoli respectively enhances the beauty of Panpoli. The enchanting Manalar and Kumbaratty Falls in Kerala situated 14 km from Panpoli are also worth visiting here. The Funland amusement park is another famous tourist spot here. It is spread over an area of 30 acres and has several interesting rides and water games that cater individuals of all ages.

Panpoli has few pilgrimage centres visited by many devotees. Thirumalai Kovil, a famous Murugan temple is located in Panpoli. Devotes need to climb almost 605 steps to reach the temple. There are two mosques here namely, Darusalam Jumma Masjid and Sheik Mohammad Jumma Masjid.

Panpoli is well connected with all modes of transport. There are trains available like Sengottai - Madurai Passenger, Punalur-Sengottai Passenger and Sengottai - Chennai Egmore Pothigai Express. Other than this there are busses plying from main cities are Coimbatore, Tiruchendur, Chennai, Tirupur, Srivilliputtur, Madurai, Tuticorin, Trichy, and Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu for the town.
