The No. 10 (Bombay) Battery functioned under the British Colonial Auxiliary Forces in India. The regiment was one of the former artillery units of the British Indian Army. The Volunteer Corps regiment served under the Bombay Army of the Bombay Presidency. The battalion was based in Bombay (Mumbai) in Maharashtra state.
The No. 10 (Bombay) Battery was raised on the 6th June 1887 as the Bombay Volunteer Artillery by the British Empire in India. On 1st April 1917, it was renamed as the 4th (Bombay) Group Garrison Artillery. Later on 1st October 1920, the auxiliary army battalion was again renamed as the V. (Bombay) Field Brigade. Eventually the company was re-organised and re-designated as the No. 10 (Bombay) Battery unit on 13th April 1933.
